Gynehealth Integrated services

GyneHealth is an innovative, comprehensive health service for women and couples, committed to providing the highest quality care in gynaecology, subfertility, reproductive medicine and surgery. By combining conventional medicine and complementary care, we aim to bring you to optimum health. Good nutrition and a healthy, balanced lifestyle are central to the approach at GyneHealth.

Celia Butt (Nutritional Therapist, BSc MBANT)

Nutritional therapists can identify potential imbalances and understand how these may contribute to symptoms. They recognise that each person is an individual with unique requirements, so personalised action plans can be defined.

Celia is a qualified nutritional therapist, having obtained her degree in nutritional medicine at Thames Valley University. Before embarking on a career in nutrition she worked at BUPA for 15 years as a senior manager. She now works with GyneHealth specialising in women’s health and fertility.

Leonie Profit (Acupuncturist, BA Hons, Lic. Ac. MBacC)

Acupuncture is being used increasingly in the field of gynaecology and reproduction, both for natural and assisted conception. Instead of treating specific symptoms in isolation, the emphasis is placed on treating the person as a whole to bring body and emotions back into balance.

Acupuncture is also effective in the treatment of pain, and may help to relieve post-operative pain, as well as promoting relaxation and reducing stress and anxiety.

Leonie is a qualified acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC). She graduated in Five Element acupuncture from The College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick and has worked for the Kite clinic in London, one of the UK's leading acupuncture practices. She specialises in fertility and works with GyneHealth on all aspects of women’s health.
