We are excited to invite you to the Klinik’s Mindful Exercise & Nutrition for Stress workshop on Tuesday 18th September at 6.30 pm
We all lead busy lives and inevitably there are times when we feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed. It doesn’t matter whether it’s work stress, relationship stress, care of young children stress, financial stress or stress about our health…. we all face daily challenges that easily throw us off balance.
In addition, when we’re stressed we deplete key nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy. If these aren’t replenished on a daily basis our health can be negatively affected, which is why we often fall ill during stressful periods in our lives.
And do you know what? Stress is not going away. The trick then is to learn to manage stress and take back control – and by doing this we begin over time to become more resilient, lessening the hold stress has over us.
In this Mindful Exercise & Nutrition for Stress workshop you will learn how to manage and reduce stress in your daily life through the practice of effective mindfulness techniques, including mindful exercise and by identifying key foods to include in your diet during times of stress and which ones to avoid. We will also look at how essential oils can help reduce stress and anxiety with tips on the best ways to use them and how to make them portable, so you can have instant stress relief when you’re out and about!
The workshop will include:
– 45 minutes mindful reformer pilates session
– Introduction to mindfulness
– How to use nutrition to beat stress
